My cousins, aunties, uncles, and siblings all remember the patches of red ginger that filled our family land. It’s all gone now but the memories are still there.
I remember watching my older cousins gathering ginger to create flower bouquets to sell. I also remember playing games like hide-and-go-seek and chase master. We even rode an old broken go-cart down hill through the ginger patches. More accurately I remember us hiding from our parents in the ginger patch. Eventually we all walked into the house.
This design simply displays a clear representation of the plant itself. The background displays a close up outline of the flower, while the curving pattern of smaller gingers represents playfulness. This design goes out to my family who remembers growing up in a field of red gingers.
